The peasant economy has never foreseen waste Let's stop throwing everything away and let's not throw away even a moment like this

• Counteract the Climate Change, starting with the reduction and conversion of waste into new consumer goods or materials.
• Keep alive and embody the peasant memory of non-waste.
L'Anello Forte is an association that was founded in 2021 thanks to the will of a young agricultural entrepreneur who, two years earlier, established a scholarship for students of the European Institute of Design (IED) in Turin to create a design object starting from the waste of her own cellar.
How do they embody R 'Reject'?
The association is formed to affirm its rejection of the linear economic system and is committed, in a collective and competent way, to finding timely solutions that transform the wine supply chain in circular terms. The strong link is, in fact, a collective space in which, through the exchange of reflections, skills and co-design processes, solutions are created, experimented with and implemented for the reduction and enhancement (reuse, upcycling, regeneration and recycling) of organic and non-organic wine waste.

L'Anello Forte is an imperative: let's stop throwing everything away! L'Anello Forte is an association of women who work in the vineyards and cellars of the Langhe and Roero, together for a circular community economy. This group of women, working in wineries in the Langhe, start thinking about their waste and how they could reuse it. They participate in a call thanks to the help of a social startup incubator. They don't win it but by working on it, they are able to identify selection criteria, objectives, alliances, and to understand the methods of recycling and reuse. They explore the paths already taken by other companies. Above all, they understand the complexity of the topic. They meet people who for various reasons deal with the reuse of waste and start designing. But the SARS-CoV-2 virus stops everything, their project and the whole world. 2021 seems like the year of the restart, vaccines arrive, new hopes and new projects animate political and social life. At the end of the pandemic that changed our horizons and the perception of life, of social relationships and of the world, let us not be unprepared, as Prime Minister Mario Draghi said. This moment offers incredible opportunities. Not only to rethink a development model but to do, to take concrete actions that put an end to the unprecedented waste that has characterized recent decades.
