- Reduce the negative impact of glass bottles
The single voice that, in wine production, has the most impact in terms of CO2 emissions is the production of glass for bottles: alone it accounts for 24% of total emissions, reaching 30% if the voices of disposal and transport are included.

Frugal Bottle, a 75 cl bottle made of 94% recycled cardboard, which has aup to six times carbon footprint lower than that of a glass bottle and by more than a third less than that of a bottle produced with recycled plastic. The liquids are contained in a specific fabric for food, placed inside the cardboard wrapper.

It weighs only 83 g, so five times less than a glass bottle.

Another feature not to be overlooked is the degree of recyclability, in fact, just separate the plastic coating from the paper bottle and insert it into the respective containers to be able to recycle it. This coating weighs only 15 grams, compared to 64 grams for a bottle of recycled plastic.

The first winery to adopt it and make it famous was “Cantina Goccia”, located in Perugia.
